Detective Connolly is looking for a place to lie low and pick up a few bucks. He thinks he’s found in with a year old missing persons case on Mackinac Island, MI. Artist Marvin Young was last seen going into a run down house after an argument with his wife, Silva. Then … poof. No more Marvin. When Connolly starts investigating, he meets a documentary film director, Danny Slaw, who is making a movie about Marvin’s disappearance. Now, it’s crystal clear that Slaw is up to something … but what? Here’s what Connolly’s considering:
- Kidnapping, ’cause there’s a missing person
- Smuggling, ’cause there’s a tunnel
- Menacing, ’cause there’s a creepy house
- Coercion, ’cause something’s scaring Silva
- Conspiracy, ’cause Danny isn’t working alone
