Now her publisher is asking for book 2 and all Zoey has is two pages. After the violence during the ride along, she is afraid and distrusting of everyone and everything. The cops are treating her like a suspect and holding her notes hostage. The “good Samaritan” that stopped to help may be stalking her. Someone else may be following her. The Officer’s wife holds Zoey personally responsible. Her cannabis growing landlord might be getting into an explosive business. And Zoey is overdue on the first chapter of her new book.
